Notary Public Services

Notary Public vs.
Notary Signing Agent

The Notary Signing Agent (NSA) credential is earned by notary publics who have undergone specialized training to facilitate the signing of loan documents properly. Notary signing agents are notary publics, but not all notary publics are signing agents. In addition to taking the certification exam, signing agents are required to pass an extensive annual background check.

The timely receipt, signing, and return of your loan documents is crucial for the closing process. A Notary Signing Agent is entrusted with this task by your lender or title company.

Once you've completed the ID verification process, you'll be instantly connected to a notary who will perform the notarization on a recorded audio/visual session using government-approved electronic notarization technology.

At the end of your notary session, you'll be prompted for payment using Stripe. A link to download your notarized documents will be automatically emailed to you upon receipt of payment.

Please note that your notary will not have access to your ID or completed documents after your appointment has been completed. We encourage you to save your notarized documents for future use.
